簡介：

「路頭」影像創作引導工作坊，為「2018臺南國際攝影節」所延伸之教育推廣計畫。工作坊時程長達半年，一方面考驗著學員的決心，另一方面也讓參與者從田野拍攝的過程中，幫自己的攝影長出身體與四肢。

本工作坊於規劃之初便從長遠的視野進入，嘗試在攝影教育推廣上建立長期且跨領域的整合式創作引導，避免觀光式的體驗活動。融合在地影像史、影像美學、在地文史與社區工作等不同面向，讓參與的學員跳脫過於技術性的工藝教育，開始思考影像生產背後的身體感知與在地意義。讓攝影不只是攝影，更是文化與歷史檔案的重新詮釋與翻譯。

在田野調查與地方文史的踏查上，特別感謝臺南社區大學、新營社區大學以及永康社區大學於課程上的合作，借重他們長期的在地經營與扎實的田野經驗，讓參與的學員更貼近自己所在的臺南。

Introduction: 

The Road Ahead photography workshop is one of the educational programs derived from 2018 Tainan International Foto Festival. The duration of the workshop was about six months. Through this relatively long process, the workshop tested out participants’ determination and at the same time, facilitated participants to development their own photography style through photo field trips.

This program’s initial planning was to take on a longer period approach; we wish to establish an interdisciplinary photography program which creates profound impact on participants, instead of hosting short-term experiential activities. Participants were able to learn from local photography history, photography aesthetics, and local community and history. The various aspects incorporated in the workshop allowed them think beyond the level of skills and crafts of photography and start to consider the body perception and local significance in producing images. Our goal is to create more meanings for photography; it can be a kind of reinterpretation and translation to local culture and history.

In the aspect of field study and local history investigation, we are very grateful for the support from Tainan Community University, Xin-ying Community University, and Yong-kang Community University. Through their solid field experience and knowledge of the local community, participants got to appreciate Tainan and all its hidden stories.
