《Notes of the Red Wall》
Tainan, a hundreds-of-year old city
Delightful historical monuments can be found everywhere
The reflection of its red walls tells the hear-felt emotion
Still graceful throughout the passage of time
Tainan is an old city known for its history, there are abundant historical sites integrated into daily lives.
These sites cover different aspects of religious belief, leisure time activity, culture and education.
No matter their different formats, they share something in common, the red wall or red brick.
The red-brick wall represents an atmosphere of grace, quietness, yet a bit liveliness.
Their styles vary in different time and season.
My creative concept is to go beyond the tradition and capture the projection of light and image of the red walls to show the versatile parts.
Other than demonstrating the abstract and mysterious sensation, they also present the atmosphere of tranquility and slow living.
Hopefully through these exhibition, more viewers can appreciate the redness of Tainan.
