生於1945年，從小在安平長大，拍攝自日常生活所見、所思、所感動之影像成為素材，運用多元影像技法、正負像轉換、奇幻交疊，突破光學成像的物理限制，以相機代替畫筆，賦予影像素材新的詮釋與生命。並以啟發攝影教學為己任，在臺灣的攝影圈中獨具一格。
Born in 1945, grew up in Anping, Liou captures images from everyday life, turning thoughts and emotions into photographic elements. Utilizing diverse photographic techniques, Liou’s works transcend physical constraints of optical imaging. He imparts new interpretations of life to photographic elements with camera instead of paintbrush. Taking on the responsibility of inspiring photography education, Liou stands out with a unique style in Taiwan's photography community.
