1959生於高雄，目前從事攝影、設計工作與多媒體及裝置藝術創作．1990年代在臺南「華燈藝術中心」紀神父的引領下，接觸劇場與攝影藝術，1991年中旬她與中心攝影社的同好一起記錄當時海安路場景，拍攝海安路上的常民生活。未料1992年突然發佈拆遷訊息，此批照片成為重要史料。
Born in Kaohsiung in 1959, Chen works in photography, design, multimedia, and installation art. In the 1990s, under the guidance of Father Donald Glover, M.M. at theTainan Huadeng Arts Center, Chen started theater and photography. In the mid-1990s, Chen participated in documenting the scenes on Hai-an Road, capturing the everyday life of ordinary people. And the collection of photos has become important historical data recording the demolition.
